nope
I think the reason is we pretty much lost a whole generation to violence, d**** or prison
That's another contributing factor too!
Yeat is good. And dudes like Lone and Ken have potential. Neither are even 24 yet
This is the common outside opinion but KTT is too good for what the general public listens to unless it's Drake
Here's a theory- The reason why hip hop is dying is because everyone bet on the backpackers as the future of hip hop. Prior to that, there's a reason why the street and gangsta mc's were on top for a long time. They had that hunger to keep wanting to release music. Once the torch was passed to the more "conscious" type of mc, things got a bit sour imo.

Lone is talented but he’s the furthest off from breaking through, Ken is breaking down the door to being mainstream. But to me, Yeat has been that dude since up 2 me. He’s an undeniable talent to me

Ken Carson is definitely up next
I enjoyed his new album
Nah I know what you meant but I’m not even talking about TI and Jeezy.
I’m saying that a lot of the modern trap sounds we hear today were influenced by Lex Lugers production in 2010/2011

OP ( @simulacrum ) should get banned for what is possibly the most demented, misguided, misinformed, & utterly b**** ass take I've ever seen on a "hip-hop forum".

stop liking things I don't like!
It's a good thing trash artists like Kanye and Eminem are moving out of the way so rappers like Yeat, Jack Harlow, Lil Baby, and Destroy Lonely can make the genre the best it's been since the 90's.
stop liking things I don't like!
Except I like Ken I just laugh at the cognitive dissonance

Cognitive dissonance of what?
Cognitive dissonance of what?
Perhaps I shouldn't have used that exact term but as much as I like the Ken songs I like, the generation raised exclusively off artists of his ilk are more likely to be detrimental to Hip hop musically and culturally than anybody else in recent memory but ay lol

What artists has Ken Carson inspired?
