In the old games they were called normal controls not expert… and the beginner was called simple

Just a learning curve, and the missions themselves kinda ease you into them. I mean the first two missions are basically open skies just fly to the group of enemies

Post stall maneuvers, get a PSM capable jet then decelerate to less than 500km/h (250 mph), then both triggers and you can move like that

If ac7 even remotely hits for you, 8 is an upgrade in every way. Also make sure you use expert controls in settings

Hands down the best AC I've ever played, Zero, 4 and Five weren't this good.

Played till Mission 8 and this game is amazing. Just the feel of the gameplay is so good. So many moments where I was just taking in the whole atmosphere being completely immersed. First Ace Combat and if every game is this good, I might have discovered probably one of my favorite franchises in the future.

Mission 3 got me hooked Holly s***

Yeah 1&2 are the handrail missions to introduce you to the game. 3 is where the game gives you that first peak moment (many more to come)

Yeah s*** turns sideways in that mission can grind up replaying the previous missions to get a better jet if you need

Mission 14 is…fine for story but overall a boring ass mission I’m going to never want to replay.

Mission 15 the mission balancing is far from perfect if you aren’t replaying missions and grinding up MRP to buy better jets, cuz this s*** forced me to buy the MiG 31 Foxhound which is a lower tier than my current jets but I felt forced to get the fastest jet possible available without wanting to grind for the highest tier jets

Been playing AC7 I have star wars battlefront soundtrack in the background to make it more epic

the soundtracks for ace combat games are some of the best in the business bro you’re missing out

Battlefront soundtrack is fire too though ngl
