Didn’t know that’s coming even thought of one few days ago. Loved these games when I was a kid

copped ace combat 7 on steam for only $4.79

Great game with a couple shortcomings due to troubled development. The DLC is super worth it too, best missions in the game.

1st person cinematics for more immersion. Innovation for gameplay, 2 areas - visual expression in how detailed graphics are but with functionality. IE clouds in engine are rendered in multiple layers, so you can tell what altitude you're flying at based on clouds, and can hide in clouds and clouds can alter player behavior (choose to cut through cloud or go around).

2nd, controls & encounters you have, behavior of enemies and calculations are innovated - wings of big aircraft will fall apart and become dangerous objects in freefall.

Choices in terms of how you interact with your wingmen will affect other things in game.

I already beat 7 but I never played the DLCs, does anyone know how the licensing for these games work? Assault Horizon was delisted from Steam apparently because the aircraft licensing for it expired. Will they remove 7 and all the DLCs at some point for the same reasons?

It was my first one too and it made me a lifelong fan instantly it’s so good. When you need more ace combat and can’t wait for 8 look into project wingman

License for the planes can expire which means they gotta delist the games but if you already own it you’re good they can’t remove it from your library

I just noticed their will be compulsory Ray Tracing in the specs , I hope this doesn't play out like the recent Doom again.
