Good basics summary of ace combat for newcomers

Some basic geopolitics equivalents/inspirations because the names are similar and get confusing, also these are not necessarily 1 to 1 real life comparisons:

Continent of North OSEA
OSEA = USA
Belka = WW2 Germany, less genocide though and more “wunderwaffe” obsessed with superweapons and generally bad guys
Sapin = Spain thematically

Continent of USEA:
ERUSEA = mix of fascist Italy and France, bad guys
Federation of Central USEA (FCU) = Basically EU
North Point = UK, part of FCU

Continent of Verusa:
Yuktobania = Soviet Union
Sotoa = Parthian Empire (Middle East/North Africa)

Ace combat 8 is about Sotoa invading the FCU 10 years after Ace Combat 7.

Btw for newcomers, not sure if it will be the same here, but in 7 the default controls are set to noob s*** which gives you way less proper control of your airplane.

Make sure you change controls to expert, which lets you have full control over the roll and pitch of your jet
