Why is the MP actually great

Campaign feeding me rn, I’m also seeing hints of the strange real world moving towards AC3’s future setting

Getting off for the night, yeah this is absolute peak. The jets’ feedback feels like it has way more weight to it compared to 7 and PW, even accelerating/decelerating and launching missiles feels way more a***ogue I love it but it’s taking some getting used to

Cool as s*** seeing your jet break the sound barrier as soon as you hit 1235 Km/h

Never played any but the hype seems unreal

I folded and tried my luck playing online last night before getting off, did co-op assault my team had the most points and I had the second most points despite being the only one in the F-4 starter plane

Didn’t get a special event battle afterwards though

I’m ass but I’m having fun lol. Expert controls are hard as f***.

Keep at it you’ll see yourself get better and it feels so rewarding seeing improvement

you’ll get to the point where you just start stunt flying under bridges and between buildings, rapidly taking out targets and switching targets as fast as you can reload missiles you’ll feel like a protagonist in a mecha anime

Do you know if the MP stays pretty active?

I don’t think there’s really any comparison to the multiplayer in 8 from previous titles, maybe from 6 but that’s a game from 2007, so it’s hard to say how much staying power the MP here will have.

7 only had PVP and was honestly pretty barebones, but playing it last year there were still some matches alive. That said it seems like 8 might be the most popular one ever and they actually put some effort into the multiplayer so it should last decently, but in this day and age without making it live service? Idk

Tried the Chandelier emergency sortie online 8 of us couldn’t do it in time lol might get easier as people unlock better weapons though.

Also apparently, I haven’t tried it myself but saw a post on Reddit, it might be better to change the Targeting Reticule under gameplay settings to Type B to make shooting with the guns easier. Makes it more similar to Project Wingman which definitely felt better with guns than AC7

Kinda feels like they force you to replay missions on first run through the campaign just to stay on track with buying better jets and upgrades
