    Nah.

We dont expect that from anyone else in any genre. Niggas wasnt THAT invested in Stevie albums in the 90s. It didnt matter cause his legacy cemented.

Same with Ye, he already cemented.

This is on the onus of the fact these young niggas are so bereft of any new ideas that we gotta keep depending on old niggas way past they prime to keep coming up with s***.

Like it’s no reason some of the most unique production of today should be coming from a 40 something year old (but that’s where we are)

also this overreaction from yall annoying

i would say vultures 2 and yandhi are the only 2 misses on his catalogue and even those two are not bad just mid

Vultures 2 sucks but you don’t have credibility when you throw an album that never came out into the conversation

I believe he doesn't have the confidence / ego to trust his own judgement anymore. Making a record by committee was once a tool for Ye, now it's a crutch. He used to bring in the most exciting up and coming artists and mold them to his vision, giving us a whole new perspective on the artist and proving again that he was the GOAT producer. Now he lacks confidence and instead molds himself to the guest artists sound.

The confidence thing is prob 75% medication + 25% the weight gain from the medication.

He think during the Pablo process is when he lost his confidence. It ended up working out but it easily could not have.

    Unforgivable

But for real though I believe Kanye got to many Yes Men on his team that's willing to give him honest constructive criticisms about his recent output of music but they are all afraid of Kanye giving them the Chance The Rapper treatment lol

Once he said "Im not going to argue with people with less money than me" we kinda shoulda known we weren't getting any good music (or clothes) from him ever again

Happens a lot. You become great with other people and then convince yourself that its all you

I was just listening to the Big Boy interview and he mentioned that he went off on one of his employees for making a suggestion because he was God or whatever

  • NorthShoreWhiteGuy

it'd just be nice to get a verse from him that didnt sound like it was a 1st attempt/rough draft

Kanye post-2019 is easily the most relatable rapper (continually destroying his own life for no reason)

S*** ain’t been the same since he got out the hospital off the Pablo rant. How did he forget how to rap & put together great albums

Ye last great contribution was his executive production on Sunday Service choir Jesus is born album

This marks when he went anti-med, even though he had pro-med bars just before it occurred

bipolar mania kicks your ass even with meds, without youre going to spiral. its surprising how long he lasted imo

i defended donda from the ye is washed haters because i think it is great

We already know he’s cemented, no one taking that away from him. Ye been acting like a goof and it’s reflected in the music

I don’t expect him to keep making classics, he just keep delivering half baked unfinished garbage. That’s something Stevie, Michael or any of the greats didn’t do

It was the beginning but I think it happened late enough into the process for Pablo to be saved. The mental breakdown later + the process he developed during that album hurt most albums after that but for the most part Pablo was still Ye on his Ye s***.

Hell no. His last decent solo was tlop and. Group project was ksg

    Donda >>> tlop

Not laziness. He's using Ai and not even changing g verses from the leaks. And what changes he did make, ruined songs.

You can be washed, the laziness isn't acceptable.

laziness is exactly what I expect from a dude who has made as much classic s*** as he has in the last 25 years lol.

He released good albums for like 9 years, 12 years tops.

he released 6-7 classic records in 12 years lol you're acting like dude put out 2 good albums. not just good records, recognized classics.
