Has anybody had interesting and unique encounters in Starfield? A few when you're in orbit but on the planets
nothing

Yes , i got side tracked plenty times with cool s*** just like i would any other Bethesda title .

By what
all I saw were copy pasted POI's. No unique bosses or anything hanging around.

They were never barren planets or planets that you would scan and would clearly have just the basic POI
It would be planets that were designed a bit more and i would go there for one quest . End up doing something else and then get caught in a loop of just coming across random s***.
This game has a largely different structure from the other games and how you randomly come across cool s*** is way different but I’ve found that just following the wave of side quest into more densely crafted areas set off a chain reaction for me .
I still have yet to run into certain quest or even just funny occasions my brother has and vice versa
I have no desire to go back and finish this game and I feel horrible about it
same,
came in here to say i really need to pick this up again
imma dive back in soonish and see if i still feel the same as i did when i got burnt out. hope there were some small QOL updates.
I haven’t played in a long while so I’m fuzzy on certain details but i vividly recall just speed running the main story cause i realized i would just never beat the game and it was too much s*** coming out
BGS trying to convince bad steam reviews they are mistaken about this game sucking
love to see the hate boner this game is getting and so glad Todd really s*** the bed with this instead of beloved Elder Scrolls/Fallout. Either take the wake up call or retire, Todd.
Reminds me of business owners responding to reviews on Google
Let’s hope Bethesda truly learns a lesson here; their next project will turn out even better if they do.

same. I might just start from the beginning whenever I do pick it up again
Like it makes sense story wise why there’d be so many empty planets but how does that make for fun engaging gameplay. 100s of planets in the game and like 10 have content on them, absolutely braindead decision from bethesda.
and the content thats there isn't anywhere near as dense, interesting and fun as Bethesdas usual

I said this when it was announced but nobody listened to me smh I said it’ll be like no man’s sky where it’s stupid visiting empty planets. I still enjoyed the game though.

Where do you want to meet to receive your handjob?
"When the astronauts went to the moon, there was nothing there. They certainly weren't bored"
This s*** is pathetic man lol
Not seeing this game appear in GOTY lists / discussions actually hurts cus it’s just a constant lowkey reminder that it didn’t deliver like we all hoped it would
I look forward to picking the game up again when the time is right.

Same I tried to jump back in and finish up some faction quests, played for like 30 minutes and got bored so I uninstalled

For real, there’s no rhyme or reason to most of the quests given to us; it’s just a laundry list of crappy things we dread doing cus they feel like chores
And it’s not like the payoff is worth it either once you’ve completed said quests.
