It’s a good game

Really just depends on if you like bethesda games or not, I enjoyed my first 40-50 hours it took me to beat the game. Which is more than enough to get my moneys worth but there’s definitely some glaring issues with it that make me not want to continue playing.

It can be fun at times; it’s just an aggressively mediocre game.

Nah Im revisiting 4 and the gameplay loop is there and satisfying as hell compared to this. Survival mode with a bunch of mods that add new enemies and snow and s*** so it feel super fresh.

I thought starfield was great though personally, can’t wait for the expansions!

happy you’re enjoying it. imma come around to beating it sooner than later, hopefully some of my feelings change when i complete all main and side quests

4 is the best fallout in everything besides choices and main story

it still has one of the best open worlds of all tiem - itys so dense and packed, so many dungeons and little things to find plus the random events

only new vegas d***riders are mad about it but at least you can actually hit your enemy consistently in 4 unlike nv

the gameplay, exploration and perk tree of f4 is so good

and its island dlc is truly one of the best content bethesda ever done and one of the few times bethesda actually responded to criticism by actually doing better (that the choices dont matter in most of base f4, well the island dlc gives you nothing but choices and different scenarios/outcomes the entire time lmao)

It’s not terrible, good if you got gamepass already but it’s a time sink with very little payoff. It’s just highly underwhelming for how big Bethesda is and what they could have done. It’s like a bunch of good ideas that they didn’t want to flesh out.
