Think so? I never felt like Robs character was in danger like I did with Adam

Pattinson's character was slick and it seemed like he always knew how to get around things until the end.

Sandler just felt like a mess the whole time.

Good Time is still a better movie though.

Well he was smooth with it but it only seemed that way, he was never gonna win and i always felt that throughout the film. The fact that he had a disabled brother about to get sentenced made me more anxious. I just felt like i cared a LOT more about RP's character in Good Time than i ever did with Sandler's character in Uncut Gems (even tho he was entertaining)

So i guess that's why to me i felt the danger more. Also Sandler's character put himself in trouble but i felt even worse in Good Time because Connie really brought other people in trouble which SPOILER FOR WHO HASN'T SEEN IT even ended up in somebody falling to his death while he should have been in the hospital in the first place

i'm biased af tho Good Time one of my fav films

The whole taking advantage of his mentally handicapped brother and taking advtange of that young chick kinda undid me caring whether he would get away with it

still enjoyed it, watched it twice the first night i saw it

Good Time is cooler to look at, soundtrack is MUCH better and the main characters were interesting in both films but for one of them i was actually rooting

Well to be frank sir I thought the safdies were a blight on cinema until Uncut Gems came out

Yeah he was manipulative AF, but i still found myself rooting for him. That it didn’t work out the way he wanted only made that ending that much better

What makes you dislike Good Time so much and what do you think Uncut did better?

Also imagine hating on the Good Time soundtrack tf is wrong with u bro

Didn't buy any of the performances and the vibe was far too tryhard edgy nocturnal crime teenage boy fare. Uncut Gems had me on the edge of my seat, dramatic upgrade in every facet of philmmaking.

Score or soundtrack?

Heaven Knows What is absolutely brilliant too,on par with Gems and Good Time.

Also the Safdie shorts are all great too!

Cant wait for whatever they explore next
