You mean strikers? It runs fine on switch, although it runs obviously better on pc and ps5. As with every third party it depends on whether you value portability more than performance. You should play persona 5 before strikers tho since its a direct sequel

i don’t have playstation or pc so i can’t play persona 5
I have already played Mario Golf for 50 hours, goated game
I like it but I'm still playing standard golf almost exclusively. I'm sure I'll switch to speed and battle at some point but in my limited experience with speed golf so far, I'm not sold. how u feel about the new modes?
been playing online match play 6-hole matches a bunch.
Funny how one of the most controversial things about Skyward Sword (the motion controls) is one of the things I actually liked the most about the game. It all felt intuitive to me, swinging the sword and controlling objects by moving your controller. The use of motion to solve puzzles was really fun and creative. I even remember back when BotW gameplay was shown for the first time on The Game Awards way back when it was still called Zelda Wii U and me being bummed that it went back to traditional controls.

Motion controls was a problem, but it was more so having it as the only option. Also people think they had to stand up and play lol. I didn’t mind because I got through the game. Cool thing Nintendo enhanced the feature where one joycon acts as a shield, another small touch that will make it feel like a new game.

I’m actually the same as you, I play standard golf for getting new PB’s on the courses. Haven’t really touched the other mods. I should get around to them soon though. I also still need to play the story.

when you unlock the new club sets and can curve your shot in such ridiculous ways

Definitely a must cop when it goes on sale
No one should be surprised by this. Nintendo CAN’T change the joycons for right now. They’re in the middle of lawsuits saying the joycons are faulty.
If they change the design / improve it, that’s admitting fault and saying “yeah, joycon drift was an issue and we fixed it”.
Nintendo would lose instantly
We not getting “new” joycons until Switch 2 / next gen

Exactly
If you’ve played BotW and you’re curious about Skyward Sword, here’s a video on what you should expect since the games are in many ways polar opposites.

is Mario Golf active online? i have a $30 gift card so was thinking about using it to get the game physically so i can just trade it in if need be.
the lack of an online ranking system turns me off a bit, but i’m kinda itching for a new multiplayer experience

For ppl who have played SS, is there anything about it you think it does better than BOTW? I'm probably gonna pick it up but I just restarted BOTW a few days ago, just hoping the jump isn't too jarring

very different games, hard to compare
skyward sword is linear and focuses on story often so that’ll be the most jarring change
