This literally happened in 2019 when Switch Lite released a couple of months before Sword/Shield
I just hope the battery life will be improved cus the current one’s horrendous
Also it’d be funny if it’s actually roughly the same size as a Switch 1
Switch 2 lite doesn’t make sense imo
A 4k console that can’t do 4k
It made sense for switch 1 because handheld is almost the same res as docked, I mean for a lot of games it was literally the same
and switch 1 or switch 1 oled are now the lower price tiers below switch 2, those didn’t exist for switch 1 back in 2019 so they needed a product to fill that tier
If anything switch 2 oled feels more likely

I play my switch like 90% handheld so this would be a dream for me, idk how they would make it cost-effective though

Well Switch Lite was a Switch that couldn’t even switch
The main demographic that NS2 Lite would be aiming for probably doesn’t care about 4K (i.e. children getting the new PKMN mainline games).Switch 1’s never had an official price drop so Switch Lite was perceived as a price drop in itself; same thing will happen with NS2 never getting cheaper so a Lite model could be the solution again
