you have to be pretty huge and dehydrated to lose 10 pounds of water it’s definitely from working on it. good stuff man if it helps your mind at all trying weighing yourself in the morning wearing the same clothing just to keep it constant
Oh yea I make sure to weigh myself butt naked every time

For anyone that dont eat meat that want something that’ll give you a good source of protein

A full cup of this’ll give you 40+ grams
and it’s like tofu you can season it literally however you want.
first lift of the year was 11/10
chest pump was stupid
also pr’d on bench and i don’t even bench like that

As of today, I’m down 40 pounds
Tryna be down 50 by the end of the year so 10 more to go!
So damn proud of myself
I got to my weight goal (down 50 pounds) the first week of December
Took a month off the gym / eating good for the holidays
But it’s bout time I return to it. Gym @ 4am rn
Gotta keep the weight off. Worked my ass off October-December to get where I’m at and I don’t wanna undo that
I’m proud of myself, don’t wanna f*** it up
Let’s get it
Finally got Covid from work and recovered but so much of my Covid anxieties are back with this new surge
Took me awhile to get back to the gym cus of it after quarantine and I feel like now I’m back to square one mentally. It’s torture cus I love going 6 days a week, the routine and discipline does wonders for my mental health but ugh my gym is so small and barely cleaned n people are so nasty. They don’t even have paper towels in the damn bathroom
Does anyone else deal with this and how do you handle it? I can’t go back to not going again 😭

I wear a mask to the gym
Somehow managed to never get COVID but my immune system / health isn’t good these days so don’t wanna risk it
I actually went to the gym for the first time this morning at 4am without a mask. Felt so uncomfortable lmao. But there was barley anyone there at that time so I thought it would be fine lol
But I’m going again rn and gonna wear a mask cus s***s packed up in here

How does it feel with your workouts? Do you use a K/N95? I feel like this might be a good solution for me esp if it worked for you cus I was masking in general up until like mid last year. I’m good with wiping down equipment before/after so the mask would prob give me a lot of peace of mind

Well, the masks make your workout a hell of a lot harder, that’s for sure lol
But in my head, isn’t that what you want? I mean we’re pushing ourselves to go harder and stronger, a mask will definitely help you with that lol
I go to the gym and do cardio (amongst other stuff like lifting and s***) for 2 miles on 20/25 resistance so when I’m done, I feel 100% drained. But it’s that good, I just did a kick ass workout, type drain lol. And I’ve been doing this for the past 2 and a half years (with a mask on), so I’m basically use to it
Depending how busy / what time I go, I’ll wear a cloth mask or a N95 mask
Plus my gym provides sanitizer wipes so I always clean my machine before and after.

Thank you for typing this all out I appreciate your perspective fr
I feel more confident it won’t be a barrier for me

This is great advice in general so thank you!! I take a multivitamin with iron but it’s for sure just bare minimum. Any advice of brands for the zinc/magnesium /vitamins? I usually use ON for most supplement stuff & used to use their ZMA a few years back but I read they’ve been changing recipes for some things
