Hey yall, was planning on starting this Jeff Nippard Essentials weightlifting program today. However, I'm also training for a 10k in March. There's versions of the program for anywhere from 2 - 5 days a week. I was originally planning on doing 4 days, but I'm wondering if that would be too hard on my body if I'm also running a lot/the added cardio may make hypertrophy more difficult? Cuz there will necessarily be days I have to run and lift. So part of me was wondering if I should do 3 days a week to give me more time for running only days and recovery. What yall think?

Yea as long you put a great focus on eating/recovery you should be straight with 3 days a week. Just take it easier on leg days and lift to maintain, it’s only for a couple weeks
Planning to put out a video everyday for 30 days to hold my lazy ass accountable

where are you from? it seems like 24/7 gyms not a big thing in the US?
close to unacceptable not having that here in AU - unless a niche/hardcore setup - even FItness First buckled and have it at their most popular locations
rest/cardio day.
just did stair climbers for 45 minutes.
besides the Strong and Happy Scale apps, do y'all use other platforms for tracking your weight and fitness?

Would it be better to follow a hyrid youtubers program instead? Since their weight program will revolve around helping your running. In the offseason you could do a more body-building centric program like Nippard’s
