Anybody seeing any improvement or progression doing home workouts? I feel like I’m lifting and not seeing adequate results but mayb Im tripping idk
Only a couple months in lifting btw
It is certainly possible to see improvement if you have the equipment you need for progressive overload.
Or you can turn to calisthenics and just need a pullup bar and parallettes to train anytime.
No but for real, I feel like more people should give it a try, it's super fun and you can get great results, plus the skills look cool.
I cannot f***ing do this without a gym.
bought me a kettlebell, thought its gonna be good, my trainer arranged daily trainings over zoom and s***. I quit two weeks in bc i just cant bring myself to doing anything when im home. same applies to work but I kinda force myself through it bc its a risky time to be slacking. everything else just nosedived though, including exercise, not to mention things like diet
im slowly trying to bring myself back with shorter and less exhaustive routines but this whole self-isolation s*** damaged my motivation biiig time. im craving for a run but also cant do it bc everybody is outside wilding no masks no nothing. I gotta wait till it peaks post-may holidays to actually go outside and not be scared for my life
I'm so limited in what I can exercise at home cause of my spinal fusion smh.
Only doing push ups and stretches not doing my body the best.Need the gym back.
Also I can't bike on a normal bike i havs to buy one of those chopper looking mfs smh.......
At least my back straight as s***
Finally used weights as my friend is opening a gym in october and I can go in whenever, I'm so sore I'm already fiending for the next pump

where about on your knee was the pain? and also for your shin probably shin splints.. they're a b****.
take a few days off running, let your body heal. Stretch your tibialis anterior and calf muscle before running.

Looks like a good routine just make sure you're eating right or the progression will stall fast

For sure, training legs seriously usually requires some bodybuilding style training, I just love the conveniency of working out anytime wherever you want basically.
