Boostcamp
Edit: smh thought it was free but there’s a subscription fee which is monthly or annual
you use a template or just made your own thing?
i ended up just making my own thing. Build my workout in 4 week cycles. Made a sheet and just duplicate it whenever I start another cycle so i can always refer back to what my last set was on whatever exercise.
Tried out a new gym today. Got this "gympass/wellhub" s*** through work. It's like $14 a month and gives me access to more gyms than my previous work program gave me which was Active&Fit. It's also cheaper.
A&F gives me access to an AnytimeFitness that's 5 minutes from my house and also gives me access to all the Anytimes when I travel.
But the gym I went to today with this Gympass s*** had so much more. Real serious s***. It also gives me access to premium subscriptions to Strava and this Sleep White Noise app I use but didn't want to pay anymore for lol it's f***ing white noise it shouldn't be a damn subscription. But anyway there's a lot of workout apps that are available. Hevy and Gym Life are supposed to be workout trackers, I guess i can check these out see if they're worth a damn.

yeah can't beat how close it is to my place and all the gyms available nation wide. i'll probably keep that and just use this other gym as accessory. anytime has everything i need and I can make it work but the other place has some extra s*** that would be nice to have.
starting up a workput routine after not really working out consistently since high school. I turned 26 this year and my metabolism definitely shown to have slowed down relatively speaking.
I'm looking to more so slim down rather than build muscle but I have a feeling both would happen as a result of a consistent workout plan. I also need to clean up my diet at the same time because that;s a huge factor as well. Anyone have any suggestions on plans? I'm currently 6'3 and about 193 lbs. and a majority of my weight gain could be seen in my thighs, my arms and stomach of course. i've been running about 5 miles a day for about 4 days a week the past week and i'm looking to continue that unless there's better alternative.
let me know y'all

Other ppl itt can prob give you better info but this is what has worked for me.
I’m old so my metabolism is pretty bad too. So I do one 24 hour fast every week where I eat lunch and don’t eat again until lunch the next day. And I don’t drink 6 months out the year. I eat pretty bad otherwise so this really helps keep the weight down
Then for your runs I would find a park that has a calisthenics area. run some, then hit some pull ups push ups and dips and repeat. Idk if it’s true but I feel like I get the best results when I switch back and forth like that.
I don’t really think it’s much point in lifting weights for upper body, you can get pretty jacked just doing calisthenics. but I do like to hit weights for leg day. So I alternate between body weight and weights for legs
