The energy boost from eating an extra 1500-2000 calories a day, and eating better food, has been insane, my whole concept of what would give me energy or make me tired has been off the past few years it feels great to get that sorted out
One issue is im having a hard time falling asleep at night and I think it’s from eating too much too close to bedtime. I’m gonna start trying to eat more earlier in the day and see if that helps
What specific stuff does it help?

Pros and cons

Best lift for the posterior chain, but also one of the easiest lifts to injure yourself in. Start light and make sure you get proper form if you’ve never been coached.

He still got an amazing body no matter how bad you think about him
Yeah he’s also roided to s***. It’s not hard to get huge taking as much gear as he’s on.
All these fitness guys are just entertainers and content creators. YouTubers and podcasters. They’re either full of s*** or so far up their own ass that they’re insufferable to listen to.
They pretend like the s*** their spewing is cutting edge when the reality is the soviets figured out all of this s*** decades ago.

The injury concerns are overblown start light and work on your form damn near every workout has some sort of injury risk

@Mmm_Hmm got injured doing pull ups
Yeah it's too scary for me
use a trap bar if you're scared of doing conventional/sumo deadlifts. Low handles, the better.

Saw this pop up on memories earlier
I cannot believe how cut I was when I first started lifting
this was about 2 years into regular lifting

Officially at 225
That’s 40lbs since the start of June
how are your lifts since getting to 225?

They’re fine. I’m really not trying anything too heavy anymore, I want to stay lean and athletic rather than bulky like I felt the last year. I’m moving so much better on the basketball court again.
I really haven’t even tried any of the big 3 since losing weight (bench, deads, squats). Mainly doing cable, resistance band, dumbbell oriented work. Still feel strong.

Blasted a thick one to this. Keep up the great work, man!
