Everything above 5k is a no go for multiple workouts a day, unless you’re training on heartzones and have a slow tempo run. Prefer to lift in the morning and run in the evening because it works better energy wise, but thats me.
Appreciate that advice
Another question to ask, for anyone who included running into their routine? Did you change splits?
I've been doing my own improvised version of PPL but it doesn't seem to integrate well with running

Switched to full body workouts 3 times a week after running a 4 day bro split. When I placed more emphasis on running/biking these workouts were more for maintaining existing mass and focusing on weak points and not necessarily on PRs.
I ran/biked every day in between. So I would add in two LISS sessions, one HIIT session. And a rest day.
Cutting rn and seeing the muscle separation is crazy lmao. My back is showing me things I never knew I had. The erectors look freaky 😈

Full body is so goated and fun
I look so good rn
Bout to go to bali for 2 weeks and flex
Lowkey worried i cant hit the gym there and lose some muscle lmao
Yeah it’s super common now.
Found out my little cousin was on steroids. I had a feeling he may have had body dysmorphia cus he always posed in front of the mirror all the time, but I ain’t know it was that bad. Bro is 16 on juice
Bro is likely going to be dependent on some form of test replacement therapy for most of his life
Yeah running a full 4 day split with running on top can be a bit much. You need to let your body recover. Since I’ve started running more I’ve reduced down to a 3 day split. I’ll run daily doing zone 2 stuff and only do 1 speed day a week
Recovery is one of the most overlooked topics when it comes to training, while it is really important. But you’re program sounds good

Since I’m also playing football and doing crossfit I switched to full body workouts. Where I have a focus on upper, lower or completely mixed. So a regular week for me is at this moment:
I switched to this 6 months ago because a traditional 5x PPL program (which I did for multiple years) was to heavy for me to combine with endurance activities. I got heavy legs during football, was quick exhausted during a match of crossfit. I also changed my running routine to train on heart zones to increase indurance and prevent overtraining. Sometimes switch my rest day because of events or races. For example this sunday I’m doing a 20k obstacle run.

i dont think u can lose muscle in two weeks.
if you're worried, do at least some body workouts: push ups, pull ups and whatever u can

solid
I just use the myprotein whey isolate
There’s just something about being able to buy an 11 lb bag.
Next time I re up I might shop around tho
I also use collagen protein at night in my blueberry smoothies since I’ve started running. Hard to tell how much a difference they make but my joints feel good and my skins been looking great which is a nice side effect
do you take fish oil omega 3

Doesn't feel like I'm getting the results like I used to but that's prolly down to not getting enough protein

You’re running affected by lack of protein? Seems more logical to point to carbs and rest. Both necessary to do a decent run.

Nah the lifting lol I tend to not eat before I go to the gym
7-8 hours, sometimes less
Mmm, well it could be a combination of factors. I would start with what you said and also pay attention to the intensity of my lifting session. A lot of times, people just ain’t going as hard as they think they are and eating more doesn’t solve anything. But start with what you said and see if there’s any changes
