How do they help?
they prevent u from losing grip and excessively fatiguing your forearms during a back workout
i think chalk is mostly use for deadlifts, when people are doing enormous lifts. I dont deadlift, so i never used It before.
It seems to help, but i dont think chalk applies to any other lift outside of deadlift

so i went to the foot doctor they said i have shifty feet more on the right so i got to tape it and see if it helps she also said if i dont care of it it can lead to ligament issues, so i have it tapped for a couple of days and she also said i cant dead lift squat for like 3 weeks got to use those hoka or new balances too when i go to the gym and when i work because i stand all ay
so did some romanian dead lifts today also what is good replacement for squatting if i cant do it, she also said no lunges romanian split squats no doing incline or stair master so mainly nothing that is hard on the foot

of all the lifts i have ever done, i think deadlifts are the only one that got me close to injuring myself, the lower back. And that with minimal weight, like 225. I only done them a few times, so that could be attributed to poor form.
i also don't enjoy the lift as much. Much rather do the seated and lying leg curls

i was told i cant do squats or dead lifts also lunges and spilt squats for a few weeks since my foot has shifted and has been causing me heel discomfort what are some other things i can do for legs

you can do leg extensions for the quads
seated or lying leg curls for the hamstrings
for glutes u can do the hip thrusts, either machine or barbell

u can try and stick with the current leg routine, but try to keep it light and focus a lot on the movement and range of motion, and see how your heel reacts to it

she said try not to put pressure on your foot so basically no hard pressure on it

like a regular chest press machine? yeah they're usually pretty good
