I don't really see what's great about Wild Honey or Friends.
They are very hit or miss for me, I like Smiley Smile but even then with tracks like She's Goin Bald & Gettin Hungry really hold the album down for me.
That's the case for a lot of their albums sadly.

I don't really see what's great about Wild Honey or Friends.
They are very hit or miss for me, I like Smiley Smile but even then with tracks like She's Goin Bald & Gettin Hungry really hold the album down for me.

Just lay back in a hammock, sip some honey tea and let the sun hit that skin. It's a vibe. Don't judge them on a song by song basis. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, or whatever the saying is

I can't not judge the consistency when they released an album like Pet Sounds which is damn near perfect.
Surf's Up is the only other studio album which is pretty close to PS.
Rather listen to The Smile Sessions with all their best material on there.
