+the buttplug award was funny but then the butt plug fight scene for me was trying too hard to be funny, same w the sausage fingers bit, and the rock w subtitle scene was also corny to me, also daughters costumes were really bad and some parts of the movie felt/looked cheap
mostly just not my type of humor + some aesthetic criticism but other than that i enjoyed it.
nah the buttplug s\*\*\* was too much for me. I actually liked the hot dog hands because it tied back in later in the film when she had to use her feet to fight
Lol wait why would anyone be offended over you not liking a movie? It's not like its their movie you're disliking, that I could understand. But neither have no personal involvement with it
It’s because a lot of people have their self-worth tied up in their opinions, so they conflate criticizing the thing they love with criticizing THEM.
But also, I need to just get stronger at saying f*** it and speaking my piece anyways. I try to avoid making people feel uncomfortable in real life. But people should feel uncomfortable.
But here's the thing though and a lot of KTT niggas do this
"Damn I really like (insert movie), might have been movie of the year in my personal opinon"
"This definitely wasn't the movie of the year you're going off of hype, (lists other movies)"
Like yeah you can genuinely feel that way but you're still being a d***head.
Movie criticism cool and all that but folks don't just take into the account that certain s*** just resonated with people or spoke to different people in different ways.
Like I said earlier, and this is not me coming at anybody but the s*** with Joy and Evelyn is convos I've literally had so it's gonna hit a bit harder for me than it might others.
Critiques are different obviously but yea
lol I don't think thats a good example of someone being a d***head, I've seen niggas say wayyy worse s*** on here. I mean I personally was lowkey calling niggas pedos for gassing up Licorice Pizza and tryna deny it was a movie about pedophillia lmaooo
Did anyone else feel like the dog scene was operating on different logic than the rest of the film?
Wym? Honestly all I could think about was "is this lowkey a racist joke with how they interweaving scenes of her cooking"

Ay bruh cuz just someone says some worse s*** don’t make what I said any less annoying lol
My point is people try so hard to be contrarian with other folks over art that resonates or speaks to them lol and that s*** is lowkey d***head behavior cuz at that point it’s not even criticism
If we being all the way 100 the Raccoon ratatouille joke was genius af. I mean Ratatouille is an actual movie, so in another universe it would be another animal like a Raccoon instead. Plus it would be normal for someone who doesn't speak good English to mix up the word Ratatouille with Raccontouille.
Facts, i dont know if people seen Swiss Army Man first tho lmao
I'm not sure lol. I've seen that and The death of d*** long. Idk if you seen that lmao but yeah it's not really wacky but the twist is f***ed up

I feel you but damn I don't think people should feel uncomfortable about s*** like that. Like what you like. I only get insecure over something if someone doesn't like something I created and value they opinion lol. Me and my friends disagree on s*** all the time. Even with this film, the homies absolutely loved this movie, and I was like "eh it was cool"

I thought she was actually mixing the words up at first
Wym? Honestly all I could think about was "is this lowkey a racist joke with how they interweaving scenes of her cooking"
Jenny Slate was just using dogs as indestructible weapons, maybe I missed something but I didn’t really understand why she was able to do that.

Nah you right, that's something I've been tryna work on. "Ya'll niggas tripping if you think The Batman better than Dark knight"
But truly it's not meant to change peoples opinions, at least not from my end. It's just how me and the homies banter back and forth.
I thought she was actually mixing the words up at first
NIGGA ME TOO. See that s*** was genius I'm not gon lie.
I thought she was actually mixing the words up at first
plus the raccoon being hidden under the chefs hat lmaoo

hmm word i'm not too sure either

It’s definitely a ME problem, imma own that, but it’s also possible u have cooler friends than me

lol nah it's all subjective bro. We're all into films and fashion and s*** so we tend to stand on our personal opinions. But yeah fam if you expressing your opinions respectfully then don't feel bad about it.
To those who were a lil underwhelmed by the movie…
How do y’all feel about my guy Ke Huy Quan?
Movie was ok. Had a lot of dope abstract stuff going on. I might’ve missed something, but it wasn't as emotion inducing as I thought it'd be.
