She’s on an asterclass of a press run at the Berlin Film Festival. She weaponized politics during her Oscar campaign, but now wants to act like she’s apolitical and not in a position to comment on anything.
Then, when asked her opinion on Wicked: For Good getting shut out at the Oscars, she criticized it and brought up how she thinks it’s because since the first one got nominated so much, they “wanted to give others a chance this time” which is “wrong and unfair” but this is the same woman who reposted an article directly to her Instagram which was basically a plea to give the Oscar to her over Blanchett because “Blanchett has already won before.”

I've probably posted the same thing here before but this felt like a live-action Pixar movie and was just good.
People are doing this again this year with Rose Byrne and Jessie Buckley and I just feel like ok, that's a legendary performance, but this one is also an epic achievement, I don't have much outrage in me when I feel like we're comparing two different versions of peak
