My black and white prejudice is literally something about my eyes . I notice flickering lights and contrast more than most people too.

Some cases of black and white it bothers me less than others . Like twilight zone doesn’t bother me as much as many movies

All of this is part of why I avoided older movies because color grading itself can bother my eyes more than others . Man of steel was noticeable too

I’m going to give it a try though. That stagey play feeling sometimes breaks it for me too but depends . I like natural dialogue vs movie being overly quotable or feeling unnatural . Some moments like this were like that but my brain kind of allowed it from the “ coffee taste different, you clothes fit different something feels off “ moment . To me that was the Morpheus matrix moment .

I’m still laughing my ass off at “ spider verse was popular multiple dimensions “ as someone who loved cloud atlas and thought of cloud atlas matrix much more than anything else .

You a real one for liking it . I think if the third act of this went more cloud atlas, millennium actress or holy mountain I would have it higher. Like go over the top but not hot dog hands , buttplug humor more “ what the f*** “. In a way when jobu was doing the head nod thing and we saw all the dimensions I wanted more of those like moments but get budget wise that stairway much easier than many ideas . Definitely could have resynced some to taxes , debt, divorce plot line more than “ win with kindness” but I get it .
