I have seen some of this list and some of them I love and some of them I wish I saw before the skyrocketed hype movie friend recommended them. I also think in theaters helps for most classics vs just watching wherever.

I like the godfather but apocalypse now and conversation are on another level compared to it. Never seen godfather part 2 tho

I have that black and white prejudice too tbh, but it’s moreso cause a lot of movies from like the 50s and earlier have dialogue and performances that feel so stagey and melodramatic and expositiony, I can get taken out unless it’s really something transcendent, which 12 Angry Men is.

Part 2 is def better cause DeNiro, and Fredo scene
