There were too many better options that would’ve run against her had that happened. She proved to suck at running in Dem primaries in 2020. She also proved to be opposed to distancing herself from Biden, and which would’ve been necessary in a theoretical 2024 Dem Primary

where are they now? democrats seem starved for any good, willing candidates who arent already running for other seats of elected office or have a slim chance of winning. the other establishment names circling (newsom, buttigieg) arent much better than kamala when it comes to being staunchly defined on the key issues (aipac/israel/gaza genocide, economic strategy/poverty reduction, m4a, ice/immigration). as of now, aoc is yal only hope
