Good points being made, I wasn't thinking about it that way. Even if AOC somehow won and was a two term president, her political career would effectively be over by the age of 50 which is definitely not in the best interest of the party. Getting these centrist losers out of positions of power in the party is 100% the better focus at this point in time

I mean the interesting thing is that — the reason I was like he was the chosen one is because he was one of the few senators to vote with Bernie a few years ago to vote against funding Israel. The AIPAC money he got was from a long time ago and he is no longer accepting it. Tie those things in with the fact that he’s Jewish and it creates this super interesting dynamic where it’s hard to call him an antisemite even if he takes stands against Israel.
