Cant believe Ye was off not performing in a long time, much older than him, and STILL outperformed Drake in every single aspect you can think of at Free Hoover. Even made the b**** cry

I finally watched that last weekend as our Bully preamble and many holy Drake sucked s***. I've seen him like 3 times, always sucks. Terrible live performer.

Kanye wasn't exactly on the ball either until he did Come To Life which f***in floored me

Made me wish so bad he did a Donda tour.

    No Kinks

Yeah I definitely lean more toward the deeper and wider discographies with a few duds. Velvets and Stooges as good as it's possible to be but I can't say I've got as much enjoyment from them as I have the mountain of magic Bob and Neil have created. Bowie and Kinks round out my top 5 probably.

Bob especially has run several victory laps on everybody else at this point but Kanye has potential to catch up at this rate

Yeah as time goes on I gravitate more and more to those deep discographies with like 20+ good albums you can really get lost in as my top goats

It's too special to play all the time anyway. Just a couple times a year with full ceremony.

Ray nearly singlehandedly rivalling the output of the Beedles if only he had a George Martin from the jump. Produced alot of his own classics too like Waterloo Sunset.

you know you're a legend when songs any other band would kill for aren't even making the cut on your albums

Seriously it's impossible to overstate how important George Martin and Geoff Emerick are to the legacy of The Beatles. Their music still sounds incredible 60 f***ing years later and that means it remains accessible to future generations.

Village Green Preservation Society and Arthur are masterpieces but they sound like relics and that is an obstacle.

    Zappa too powerful

Caetano veloso might be the most staggering deep discography I've delved into in the past few years or so

Yep they lucked the f*** out. Apparently the facilities at Abbey Road were actually kinda s*** compared to American studios at the time and they just pulled off miracles with what they had.

I feel like Village Green was the moment they finally caught up as far as sound quality goes. Face To Face and Something Else definitely sound like relics but that sweet sweet mid 60s four track sound is my ultimate comfort zone so I don't mind at all.
