There are many mainline Kinks albums I have not heard, so I can’t really include them. I’ve heard all the canon albums from 1964-1971 and love them of course, but not:
Everybody’s in Showbiz
Soap Opera
Schoolboys in Disgrace
Low Budget
Give the People What They Want
State of Confusion
Word of Mouth
Think Visual
UK Jive
Phobia
They're my favorite band and I've only heard up to Schoolboys
which took me like 22 years lol. You should move on to Showbiz if only to hear Sitting In My Hotel asap. Soap Opera and Schoolboy have gems too.
You hear much of their vaulted gems like Rosemary's Rose and Lavender Hill?
Cant get over the visuals of them on top of the Cubes with the sharks swimming around em
Amazing :jeezyhahaaa:
Im terribly afraid Im still a donda truther
The best 10-12 songs on that one are so f***ing good. He sounded passionate and inspired and the gospel influence is where he really shines.
Hurricane
Off the Grid
Moon

Believe What I Say
Life of the Party
Jesus Lord
Pure Souls
Come to Life
No Child Left Behind
He was more locked in on a strictly performance level for the Throne Tour than Yeezus or Pablo from my experience. Pressure on when Hov is right there.
yeah seriously regret not going to WTT too I was too young and broke at the time lol. and its obvious he performs the best when theres competition

Come To Life was the moment I realized this guy is never gonna stop being able to tap into the essence

Yeah man The Great Lost Kinks Album is just as worthwhile as a lot of their best golden era releases

I was also born on a full moon, that verse is just different

this moment for me

Ray nearly singlehandedly rivalling the output of the Beedles
if only he had a George Martin from the jump. Produced alot of his own classics too like Waterloo Sunset.
you know you're a legend when songs any other band would kill for aren't even making the cut on your albums

Cant believe Ye was off not performing in a long time, much older than him, and STILL outperformed Drake in every single aspect you can think of at Free Hoover. Even made the b**** cry
