They rewrote the GL show to focus more on John Stewart several months ago; that’s a dub.

Just because Wittrock fit the vision for that show doesn’t mean he fits the vision for Gunn’s Superman movie or overall DC Universe.

And really — who cares?

Think of all the actors who could star in Wes Anderson films if he didn’t choose the same ensemble over and over again? How many stars could Scorsese have made if he didn’t keep casting DeNiro as his lead? All directors play favorites with their favorite actors.
