I love it. This DCU is one where metahumans already exist, which ensures that the world is lived in and superheroes and villains are a precedent rather than a checkbox to tick off down the line cause they have to be there

Audiences aren’t stupid lol, we saw right through the former being a rushed effort to catch up to Marvel with a JL film before they inevitably dominated with their Infinity Gauntlet films (a rushed effort by WB btw I don’t pin that on Snyder personally so this isn’t a Snyder attack lol). This on the other hand is a way to make the world more lived in with metahumans

It was nice/aight. Someone said it feels like these characters were already made and some higher up forced them into a Superman show lol. Overall it's refreshing. I just hope the moments that are supposed to feel heavy, feel heavy.
