do y’all think peoples basic necessities should be met, given that we have the resources?
food water shelter education a job
or do you think that shelter is not a human right and should rather remain empty than house someone who you don’t deem deserving enough
What is “a job”?
Yes. Absolutely. That is my belief.
I want the very basic human rights of healthcare, housing, food/water etc taken care of. I think all people should be given these things. Things like boradband and phone lines should be nationalised too.
ok then we relatively fine then, those are some of the most urgent and primary things tht need to happen
some of this other s*** can be second priority to peoples immediate needs
@spongebob before we get into a semantics battle im basically asking how do you ensure 100% employment?

That is the most viable route to equality. In the end we both want equality. We have different methods. I think the free market has a place within socialism because it offers benefits to us all. I don't think enough people want to sacrifice the benefits of the free market. Nationalisation of core industries, and regulate the free market more is the best route. I don't see the point in discussing idealistic approaches such as communism. It is not viable.
But the free market should never be mixed with basic human rights to housing etc. Neolibralism
Absolutely will never support anything even closely resembling neo liberalism.
.................bro what are you talking about?
Why do the working conditions for f***ing coal mines magically become less lethal under communism??????
so let me get this straight
in current capitalist society
coal miners, working in harsh conditions for s*** wages, are okay with nfl players
but in communist society, coal miners, who have their material needs met, aren't going to be okay with nfl players because ????

Because if we are all “free at will” to do whatever tf we want then why am I a coal miner and why is Russell Wilson a football player?
The basic notion I’m trynna get through is how do you ensure industries meet the labor demands to actually function without oppressing people’s will to live? How do you make sure there’s enough trash disposal people and janitors if and how do you make sure everyone doesn’t just wanna be an entertainer of some sort?

i think the point that hes missing is the dude working at a s***ty warehouse doesn't hate lebron lmao mainly because they realist that lebron james isnt the root of their oppression.

If there’s jobs that nobody wants to do, we could use robots.

So people within your society are naturally superior?

You get what im saying tho, right? In that I completely understand what you mean and agree the latter situation is much better but it’s the individualism within humans that don’t allow them to understand this nor understand that they’d probably have to make some sort of sacrifice (aka you probably wont get your yeezus stage within your lifetime but maybe in the future someone else can) is the #1 reason why people do not f*** with communism right?
Well I mean people who aren’t brainwashed by propaganda rather just actually disagree with communist principles in practice
