no, we can talk about overarching system. but who tf cares about your yeezus tour fantasy

Why are you so obsessed with semantics while promoting an ideology as nuanced as communism? It’s very frustrating.

My Yeezus tour a***ogy works with anybody that doesn’t want to dedicate their life to being a laborer towards building something they don’t give a f*** about but NEEDS people like that to build out their Yeezus looking stage. Or forget Yeezus bro any sort of abstract art that is not a direct necessity but costs tens of millions of dollars and requires multiple laborers who more than likely don’t give a s*** about the abstract art. People who want to live that type of lifestyle exist, and they need as an explanation as to what’s gonna happen to their Yeezus mountain stage Synopsis. And if you’re gonna take that statement literally don’t even respond but if you wanna engage with the a***ogy I’m making I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Plus, either way, ima die anyway. might as well entertain myself with discussion while i pass the time, even if it is online

To be fair, I do think you are good at engaging in this. I do not sense hostility from you and you do discuss without ad hominems

Racism, Police Brutality, Institutionalism, D****, Violent Crime, Corruption

Economic Inequality too, but no, Communism wont fix that. There are non communist countries with economic equality

so all of those don’t connect to the economic system and how it’s structured to protect the most wealthy and siphon off every penny possible from the working class

people do a lot of those things because of a lack of assistance, education, resources, they’re in desperation

these are all issues that would be focused on more under socialism as people would have a larger voice than when things are so corporatist and if you can’t see these ideas for anything other than old examples then we’re not really close to the same page i’m looking at the present and the future knowing the past and you’re looking at the past, not willing to envision the future and disregarding the signs of the present that point to capitalism’s failings.

No it doesn’t Synopsis. Explain to me how even allowing for people to have leisurely careers such as sports or music or acting not creating an entire new elite class within the communist society?

What’s keeping bridge construction workers or truckers from revolting for being forced to work s*** conditions while others get to “throw around a ball for a living” and get to live in the same conditions that are sometimes life risking?

The new elite class in communism is the party leaders and they're worse than the business elites of capitalism

    so whats the difference

The difference is in one society those people got lucky

And in the other we’re all supposed to be okay and actually democratically elect the people we want to hold elite positions in society while the rest of us have to work harsh conditions

And listen bro I understand why this is frustrating because OBVIOUSLY the latter is better as it is just a less s***ty version of what we live through today

But you are removing a very important aspect of humanity that we have yet to let go off and that is the concept of individualism. So long as humans care about that no amount of equality will mean s*** to them which has been the point ive been trynna make throughout this whole thread

You realize it’s only the way you frame the question that makes it sound so evil right?

Inherently there’s nothing wrong with responding with a “yes” because this question is synonymous with “do you wish to change nothing” and changing nothing is objectively neither a positive nor a negative rather a neutral

You are trying to frame neutral positions as negative ones ala “silence is violence”

They do exist, but we are talking about a huge amount of effort. It involves 100s or 1000s of people dedicating day and night to something for half a decade. Are you saying they will not want to be rewarded for that hard work and effort?

We're not talking about somebody writing a song. We're talking about a huge effort filled with 12+ hour days for half a decade.

This will sound corny as s*** but working on what you love and seeing the end result is enough reward for the real ones. The real ones are the ones who will work in entertainment.

The people who do it because of Lamborghinis and stuff will work on the production of Lamborghinis or something like that.

Yes. Absolutely. That is my belief.

I want the very basic human rights of healthcare, housing, food/water etc taken care of. I think all people should be given these things. Things like boradband and phone lines should be nationalised too.
