The PS5 exists because of the constant need for profit from companies. The free market does lead to innovation in the consumer industry.

I will give you that people use the label under many different interpretations with nuance but when we’re referring to the basic definition, socialism and communism will always be connected

obviously the transition between would require dismantling power structures that couldn’t all just stop at once, there’s so many facets of it that obviously it has varying ideas of how to address them

There are people in the middle because they see the benefit in the free market. More regulation and the nationalisation of very core industries. This is a viable solution and one that will work. You scare people away when you start getting more militant. Start using your own common sense and look at the world around you right now. Marx ain't here to save us. You have to start using your own wisdom to understand the best route to equality. Communism is not it. Militant socialism is not it. It is not going to work.

They want better, higher quality games, and that entails more powerful consoles who can run it.

No they do not. The private companies want that so they can market their games better.

Within the consumer space in video games, history has shown us very consistently the most powerful console is almost never the most popular.
