I take a more realist approach to socialism, based on psychology of the human mind. You can't just assume everything works because people do not want it to. It is too idealistic. You have to understand the issues that come with such a militant approach. Socialism as we know it right now is not what will naturally progress to communism. Socialists in EU and the US are not that militant and see the benefit in the free market. Any electable socialist has to support the free market in some form. This is the most viable solution.
