I dianping’ed (chinese doordash) boba from chicha san chen / 吃茶三千

I saw it on ig reel when they opened a store in socal… taiwanese joint since 1998
They won some tea award in taiwan which is what intrigued me

Got the best seller milk tea (in chinese the name is like country GOAT tea)
Tea flavor came strong but idk what tea they used it kinda tasted weird in milk tea form tbh, ordered it w less sugar and it came basically 0% sweet i ended up adding sugar myself. Boba was on the super soft side for sure. I think i have beef w the milk they use tho, it like leaves a weird filmy feeling on the tongue not sure if its bc they use powdered milk or something….

Overall i wouldnt order again 😢
Or if i do i wouldnt pick a milky tea
Maybe the taiwan branches r better but if ur in taiwan just stick w chun shui tang for boba it is a safe guaranteed winner

had a martini with some Stockholm Branneri and that Dolin. honestly might have been the first martini I've ever had actually? feel like i just have had at least one before tho just can't remember. anyway it was...ight? i think I'm gonna need to try an atlas martini or other variations. it just wasn't that good.

but now I'm having this daiquiri and it's really nice. Shook 2oz San Zanj haitian white rum, half a lime, and 2 barspoons turbinado sugar before adding the ice and shaking again. it hits the nose incredibly, tastes exquisite, and makes me want to cover the 1000 miles to the ocean as quick as possible

also if you plan on getting this shipped to you i also wouldn’t recommend unless you’re willing to pay like 40$ for next day shipping them s***s will be stale on arrival. i’ve never had a good shipped cookie before.
