    2016 was mid so yes

  • I got into hip hop in the late 2000s so I’ll always be biased towards that

  • Best part of late 2000s early 2010s was the variety of rappers to listen to. Back then people wanted to be the first to find someone nowadays they clown artists for not having much fans

  • Yes.

It was in no way as great as 2016

2016 was a generational thing, on pare with what happened in 1991-1995

We will not experience anything like 2016 and what follow until around 2038

i think 2006 was that for Gen Y with the blog era being the next shift for millennials

it’s okay man! everyone has their moments of time in hiphop. skipping 2 decades of hiphop to 2016 is not it tho lol, this s*** cycles every 4-5 years

FS/LS the first album I thought of when I saw 2006. Timbaland was on a special run with his work with JT and Nelly Furtado

Just look at that picture. Many of those albums have songs that get the club popping to this day, 20 years later

Some influential classics in there for sure. I'm taking 2016 though, as far as my own personal enjoyment is concerned.

JT, Beyonce, Dilla, Akon, Rihanna, Nelly Furtado, Ciara, Ne-Yo, Pharrell, Clipse

Those albums alone have stood the test of time and are still enjoyed by listeners around the world. And that's not even half the list

Genuinely need to know what y'all smoking when y'all big up 2016 this much. TLOP and Views not measuring up to these albums
