I agree that there may have been some historical events, people and places that are mentioned in these text but when the mysticism and the objective claims and statements get mixed in I have a problem with that

Organized religion hurt people in a way that’s hard to wrap your head around thats a fact. I think the core principles of it are the opposite of everything that happened in practise, but I get what your saying. And its also a fact a lot of the bible was compiled and written with ulterior motives for sure. Also I literally took a few elective theology classes, its not my degree or minor so I am not really formally educated! But I loved those classes, but def take what im saying with a grain of salt
