It's very charming, and has extremely likeable characters. I feel like that, along with great writing and bursts of suspense/violence are what do the trick

S*** felt like I was watching the season premiere of a CW show. And the action scenes weren't even that great either, even though I love to see Charlize Theron kickin ass

I just kept watching it expecting a click and before ik it i was on szn 4
It’s like a show about everything but nothing
The plot lines and arcs, especially first 3 seasons are like so mundane but it’s like addictive
Don’t necessarily hate it but don’t necessarily see the hype, i mean people literally call it THE best show on tv
Yea I generally agree. Not a bad show but I wouldn’t say its a great show. Never comes close to the peaks of Breaking Bad for me. Just kinda consistently mildly enjoyable tbh.

Aug 13, 20202005 Charlie and the Chocolate Factor was so much better than the original film in the 70s. Tim Burton's adaptation captured the spirit and essence of Roald Dahl so much better and even the added part of Wonkas childhood was woven into film nicely.
