It's mid af, sure, but 40?
hes been doing a lot of smaller films to build his career, but once tenet and batman come out he'll be way bigger
a lot of people still see him as the twilight guy
He definitely has a better résumé than Taylor Lautner :

47 metres down 2019
You had 40 years from which to pick out films worse than Baby Driver...and you chose a film from last year that's actually cool and better than Baby Driver.

The Lighthouse is only small when compared to big blockbusters and Oscar bait films tbh.

Yeah i was gonna say he's done 2-3 recent films that have netted him tons of industry rep and notoriety haha.
scorsese was right about marvel movies destroying small-mid level movies

I'm actually surprised so many can't see this.

yep and then marvel fanboys had the nerve to insult him
Do people consider Robert Pattinson a star?
Star talent but not a star filmography (yet)
Edit: I called it discography at first I feel like an idiot

While I agree we could say this about a lot of franchises

Too small to be calling him a star off of it

F*** Marvel. All my homies hate Marvel.
Too small to be calling him a star off of it
he acted with Juliette Binoche, one of the most famous and acclaimed actresses of the past 40 years, and Willem Dafoe, one of the most popular Hollywood character actors. Not really big stars in the realm of Leonardo di Caprio or Emma Stone but who needs to be that tbh? He is already extremely famous and a sort of Arthouse blockbuster star.
While I agree we could say this about a lot of franchises
Nah, none nearly as big as Marvel

Well no s***, doesnt change what I said

Technically he might even just be a star off of his Twilight popularity and doing these arthouse movies just branched him out even farther.

My point is that their impact directly affected the film industry due to how large it is.
No other franchise could do that

This is complete cap lol. Just say you don't pay attention to anything other than franchise movies
