mayo
not a big fan of joker (think it suffers from the same bland c+p formula a la marvel making “genre” movies) but liked it enough and think I finally understand why woke ppl hate it.
the director of the hangover of all people made a socially conscious movie about a creepy mentally ill white male without a straightforward/obvious moral perspective and it sweeped box office and audiences better than they ever could. they all just salty

Especially anomalisa. I watched that s*** and was genuinely mad at myself
GOT fell off after season 5
After S4
i stopped watching mid season three when it started to take a life of its own separate from the books. I knew it was headed for a course of sensationalism,

lol
Yeah the signs were there with Dany in Essos. Whitewashing Dany ended up being the reason why the final heel turn was laughably bad too. Should’ve just made their own endings but those f***ing hacks wouldn’t have been able to come up with something on their own anyway.

However will they do this on a Tv show???
I was sonintrigued & interested seeing this absolute mystery from the pages hit the screen. Like will they do PoV or whattttt
Nope, showing its him the first instant we meet him 🤢🤢🤢
Which one?
The most recent one with king geedorah. The human aspect was kinda lukewarm but I thought everything else was on point
Can’t remember if I said this already but the third Ninja Turtles movie where they’re in feudal Japan is actually the best of that original trilogy of live-action films.
Bohemian rhapsody doesn't get anywhere near the amount of slander it deserves because rip freddie but that s*** was TERRIBLE.
Exemplified everything wrong with the biopic genre. Also got oscar love even though that nasty man directed it

It wasn’t that bad

It's like if someone who edits YouTube trailers of movies directed an entire film. To have a movie about such a complex, interesting man to be that generic and soulless is a crime.
It wouldn't even be popular if it didn't have the amazing music to distract you

I disagree. If anything it’s kind of upsetting how the band is in the background besides Freddy. I mean I get it’s his biopic so I guess it makes sense.
I def think the film could have been better written but I think just due to the massive amount of stories and materials it was gonna be jumbled anyway. Could have made a fantastic miniseries imo
Aquaman was one of the most boring film I’ve ever seen and I’m just not a Jason Momoa fan even though I did enjoy the first 4 seasons of GoT and then a couple episodes here and there.

:datass:

The last season of Mad Men is pretty bad and Don did a few things that he wouldn't have actually done but it was required to get the plot to move towards the unfitting end.
Of course there were issues before then but never much and could easily be discarded since everything else was so great.
