Thats not an opinion
You’re right.
I guess my unpopular opinion is I find most comedy movies to be extremely cringe.
Watchmen HBO is a shallow story that's being carried by the racial tension in America.

Prior to the invention of white people, has there ever been racial tension in America
Brightburn

TTTRRRTRTRRRAAAAAAASSSSSSHHHH
I’d be more surprised if someone thought it was good.
shazam was ass. surprised it's one of the more acclaimed dc movies
Your avi spooks me
This year has the most disappointments for me
All the things I truly enjoyed most I didn’t know were coming going into this year . Going to avoid trailers for things I want to see going forward
2001: A Space Odyssey is easily one of the worst if not worst movie I’ve ever seen
I dont think Cage is bad but I definitely don't get hyped when I hear his name nor do I look for him. You lying if Cage has "blown you away" in the last 20 years.
Some actors yall like because they seem like an oddity themselves or not typical. But if everyone liked them, your interest would drop.
I know Lakeith has proven himself and been in more projects but before, yall was stanning him for his 5 seconds in Get Out and him playing himself in Atlanta
Nick Cage? Is anyone actually hyped for him, isn’t it just a meme?
Chernobyl is solid but nothing more
i would extend that to all hbo shows that came out this decade
The move from movies to tv has completely ruined my enjoyment of watchable media.
Movies: 90-120 minutes. Usually condensed into a solid traditional structure thats very easy to follow.
Tv: 30-60 minutes per episode. F***ing bloated story. Weird structure with bad pacing. Impossible to catch up on if youre behind.
I can watch maybe one tv show per year. It blows my mind that people watch like 15 shows a month. How the f*** am I supposed to watch 5 seasons of breaking bad, 3 seasons of better call saul, and now a full length movie. Thats literally over a work week of content.
If I had to choose, I'd choose watching a condensed movie over a TV format 99% of the time.

I wouldn't say impossible to catch on unless it's a CW Show or mainstream anime series. But yeah I'm still shocked when people just go through shows like nothing, most of work 9-5s so the little free time we do have isn't enough to blow through 15 different shows unless you don't go out, watch movies, read etc.
I choose to only watch one show and stick to it til I'm finished with it otherwise I get overwhelmed. I still prefer movies because they're tighter and it's one complete story.

This is true entirely which is sad but hoping final 2 redeems it

not watching trailers for most things is honestly one of the best decisions i've made for a lot of my media consumption. i'll watch one or two if it's something i don't know about at all and it intrigues me or i'll just go in blind.
you have no expectations and no prejudices. you just soak it all in and see it unfold.
and if it's stuff I know i'm going to watch for sure then i won't even bother looking at anything.
A lot of trailers reveal too much or just have the wrong tone of the movie.
