Nolan batman didn't age that well and is easily the worst part of his filmography
Kinda agree with this
TDK is timeless but overall none of it felt like Batman

TDK is alright too and Ledger carried

Absolutely. Remove ledger and it’s the same quality as Batman begins. Christian bale was the weakest part of his film
I wish, even Following is more solid
ain't nobody ever watched following s*** gonna be on tubi in a few years

Fam I love Bale in American Psycho, all the memes nowadays kinda made me appreciate even more his part tbh
But in all the trilogy his performance is weak as hell. I watched it dubbed, but from what I saw on YT his Batman voice is truly corny even in original language lmao.
Film and TV getting worse with each passing year.
If Ivan's Childhood dropped today it would be a 30 sec clip on TikTok at most.

pity because movie is a solid 7 and previews what Nolan will explore in his following movies. It's definitely worth a watch.

The voice and his weird, stuff suit make it hard to take his Batman seriously
Season 6 Episode 2
You probably thought I was gonna say earlier and tell me it's gonna pick it up
Shows d***earing is crazy
First half of season 6 has such a laughably bad cringe storyline

i'll fire up the firestick and check it out later
As much as I appreciated The Northman for its craftsmanship, it didn't leave any lasting impression on me.
I really wanted to see this then suddenly didn't care about it anymore because I felt like I'd end up feeling the same way. I mean I'll still see it but I don't feel a urge to watch it anytime soon.
I think that's how I felt after watching The Batman. Solid movie. One watch classic

I feel similarly about the batman too. Amazing craftsmanship but horrible pacing and underwhelming plotting.

I was kinda surprised that I didn't like it cause I enjoy a lot of slow burns and things of that nature
But in this show you know who has plot armor and the stakes don't even leave me satisfied

I had recently gone through some batman comics before I watched the movie and saw panels that hit so hard thematically just with the environment and dialog. I guess I wanted something that would leave something to think about

That’s the issue with prequels
MCU films stopped feeling like real movies after phase 1. Not really Sure how to elaborate, but something happened with them that made them feel shallow, artificial, and lacking in replay value.
I can run back most of the films from phase 1, but everything after that is a slog to get through on second watch. It’s like stale McDonald’s

They just feel like cheesy fanservice flicks now. Everything is mostly safe and predictable and designed to not only pander to kids/teens but to also tie into the next safe predictable movie. Nothing feels big anymore cus you already know the good guys are gonna win, and at the end some new characters will pop up in an after credits scene. I haven't seen the new Thor but I bet I know just how it ends.

Also the Disney/Marvel machine has a ton of money but their movies just end up looking more and more bland visually
No Way Home legit looks fake as F*** like the whole world was made out of bubblegum, plastic, and PlayStation graphics. The CGI in Dr Strange 2 is dogshit. If yall gonna make mindless popcorn flicks please make them look better

2/2 spot on
30-40 min episodes > hour long episodes
a lot of shows coming out only have 30-40min of content too but stretch themselves out to hour longs
