The best mangas/anime can't compete with the best tv series
Not even your top 3 anime?
This just not true.
I watched the most acclamed anime/read the most beloved mangas and I really don't find them gripping like tv series like Mad Men, Bojack etc.
Friend of mine recommended me Pun Pun which was one of the best so I gonna start it when I finish with my exams to see if my opinion change
Also Still need to finish Parasite anime yet
Who are you
Imagine saying Denzel Washington needs to “solidify himself”.. LOL

Yeah even the best manga and anime to me can’t compare to BoJack and Mad Men
Take the nostalgia glasses off
Fair enough, I thought about this for a bit today. LOL

Berserk, vagabond, Aot so far with this new season, Hunter x Hunter, Vinland saga, Avatar (if you wanna consider that a anime) and kingdom all amazing anime/manga that i think can easily compete with the best.

I can’t speak to all the shows you listed here.
but HxH so far isn’t really near as good as the shows we listed.
And Avatar (while amazing) to me isn’t nearly as great as those shows... although it is an amazing show
That being said
I think amazing storytelling and characters definitely come from anime and i have had great experiences with the medium.
How many times have you watched Tenet?
I think Nolan was a genius with this one bc the whole movie is about time not working the way we can comprehend
And it's also a movie that's not a normal movie. It's not a movie you can watch once.
Same way the protagonist goes back in time multiple times to relive the same moment but with a different approach same way you have to watch this movie at least twice to start appreciating it
First watch was 3.5/5 and a bit dissapointing
A rewatch made it a 4/5 and a ♥
Seen Inception literally yesterday and after it ended I had this weird feeling that I had more fun watching TENET and Inception felt simple compared to TENET
but hey! I know it's unpopular that's why I posted it
It’s a movie I wish I didn’t even watch once
Studio ghibli movies are pure mid
Even Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke?

Don't let the heaux hear you saying this though. This girl hyped them up to me so I watched Howl's Moving Castle. Told her it had beautiful animation but the story and characters were just average. Been left on read ever since

I don't like to start mangas where the authors take long and weird hiatus, are HxH and Vagabond worth reading cause of this?
Was talking mainly about Cowboy Beepop, Monster and FMA.

Both are worth reading even tho they'll likely never finish You should watch hxh instead tho.

How far are you in hxh?
Even Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke?
I have nostalgia for spirited away but after recently watching it, I can confirm that it is indeed mid.
