D***ie didn't do anything "THAT BAD?".

Like killing his father to f\*\*\* his father's wife to later murder her. On top of how ridiculously racist he was.

I suppose that's the entire ethos of the show, you still like something about these characters despite how vile they are.

what I’m trynna say is D***ie didn’t do anything that bad DIRECTY to Junior

The ending was perfect. You thought that D\*\*\*ie was going to enact his revenge. And instead is killed by his own people when he THOUGHT he was in control. It alludes to Tony's death in the show. At the end of the show, you thought that things were resolved. In both instances, Paulie was on the line "it's done". And neither one seen it coming. Holsten's was also brazenly shown and mentioned as now a death omen.

They did a lot of killing off of respect and ego in the show. A major plot point of Season 3 was the disrespect of Jenny and that planted seeds for the end of the show.

F***ing' Italian people. How did we miss out on this? F***in' expresso, cappuccino. We invented this s*** and all these other cocksuckers are gettin' rich off it. And it's not just the money. It's a pride thing. All our food: pizza, calzone, buffalo moozarell', olive oil. These f***s had nothin'. They ate pootsie before we gave them the gift of our cuisine. But this, this is the worst. This expresso s***

How do you know that was Paulie?

Junior shoulda got more screentime and had a little more of a feud with d***y or shown some more examples of how petty he is

Him wacking d***ie makes sense If you ve seen the show and know how jr operates but for someone who hasn't seen the show it d be a major wtf moment that a small supporting character just wacks him almost outta nowhere

I think all of the actors portrayed their characters perfectly (only exception was Sils character he was doing too much), even Janice’s character was the same as the show, great casting

Sils Sopranks character was over exaggerated so I appreciate the MSON character of him.

    This s*** was dope

Only complaint I had was the d***y character. For one they didn't show any of his d*** abuse and 2, the actor was meh. Dude is talk of the town yet is the least charismatic character in the whole movie

Oh yeah and that scene the chick confesses

I think the point of the Evail in his pocket was to prove he was never a junkie. He was just trying to help Tony’s mom…. The irony is that she didn’t really know those pills were for her so she stirred up a nasty rumor about him.

    STOLEN FROM REDDIT!!

First off, I enjoyed the movie but no matter what, it wasn’t going to fully scratch my Sopranos itch. Agree with some of the enjoyments/complaints below so no reason to rehash them. The one Easter egg that I haven’t seen discussed is the cameo of David Chase. Not only that but who he played. At the funeral of Buddha(Joey Diaz) you see David chase walking slowly into a room and everyone coming over to pay their respects. Junior walks in and calls him Eckley. In season one of sopranos Jackie Aprile is only acting boss as the true head of the family is doing time. The true boss is Ercole “Eckley” Dimeo. Therefore David Chase is the true head and creator of the Dimeo Crime family aka the head and creator of Sopranos. I thought that was perfect.

Word I don’t get the dislike for him in this movie when he’s just as exaggerated in the show

There’s something weird about that scene with Livia and the school counselor.

    was Tony molested by Livia?

I tonight that’s where it was heading
