Drakes lawsuit told me this amount of streams even for him was indicative of bots
i thought Drake burned down the bot farm
Tbh I still don’t really know if the bot allegations were legit or if it was just kind of part of the beef back and forth. Kind of assumed every label does paid streams/payola

I don’t think bots are legit on either side. Not like us was genuinely very popular. And Drake has a huge fan base that will turn up for the new album. It reeks of being insecure someone else was able to match those numbers he did
It's not as replayable as scorp/views but definitely more than CLB, which did very well longterm. Drake's audience wants rap, and this has very replayable good rap. CLB didnt
i actually think this might outperform Scorpion if God's Plan didn't exist. The bottom 10 songs on here are way stronger than the bottom 10 on Scorpion/Views

Yes, that's precisely my point. CLB did very well longterm because it didn't have a lot of straight-up rap. It was a mix of all of his styles and very commercially-friendly.
ICEMAN is straight up rap music

Yeah it’s still crazy how big that song was. Remember just walking around my apt complex I was in then like a day later and hearing it blasting in some dude’s apt, think same week whole family was grilling to it on rooftop grill
The boy proved everyone in this thread wrong 😭
CEMAN 480-520k
MAID OF HONOUR 115-135k
HABIBTI 110-130k
pretty much the best case scenario for all three albums. good job on drake's part, i think he should get over the 500k line given that iceman seems to be resonating outside of the stans.
Almost 800k on the high end with streaming alone if he combined all 3 albums. Could have been pushing a million with physicals. Crazy

I don't comprende ngl
the only songs with mad streams on CLB are rap songs. all the deep cuts did trash, even songs like Race My Mind which to me is a ridiculously good song is "only" at 174m vs a very average rap song No Friends In the Industry with 286m
even fountains with tems is "only" at 242m
this'll demolish CLB's longterm performance i reckon
So Drake's also proven he could do 1m fw. He just needs like 250k in physicals and 40 songs. That would be very easy to do

The highest-streamed songs on CLB are:
All of these are commercially-friendly records that are light on lyricism and featuring rappers that were extremely hot in 2021
ICEMAN is an amazing album, but most of it is very bars-heavy, and none of the songs have a big feature name besides Ran To Atlanta. That's why I have hesitation on thinking how big it'll be commercially longterm

Why would he drop a 40 song album

Yeah and I think the top 4 songs on this are far superior to those, ft or no ft. Purely from a hit standpoint
and the bottom 10 songs on this are literally twice as good as the bottom 10 on CLB. The bottom 10 being so much better will be absolutely huge for its performance.

It's not a measure of quality, it's a measure of commercial appeal
I think ICEMAN blows CLB out of the water, but I'm solely talking about the commercial-ness of the two albums in how they're constructed
What 4 songs do you think have the biggest hit potential on here?

Honestly STFU Janice, Shabang, 2 Hard 4 The Radio, Whisper My Name.. there’s a lot on here people will be going crazy to all year. I think we’ll all be shocked by how this performs. He already exceeded all expectations.
