The show is good enough for me to keep tuning in for sure, at least so far

well yeah and part 2 being 2 seasons hopefully with plenty of cold opens that story will breathe even more than the game

tbf until we’ve see the finale for this season we can’t claim whether or not it will feel just or not

from what we have seen so far Pedro is not that guy and they don't even have the time to make him that guy. The best move they can do is he stealth runs most of hospital a tense stealth run then kills just who is needed.

I hope they stick the landing but I still think they've failed the vibe of the setting overall

Essentially what I have been saying all season was my worry

1. Knew show would be less tense, less gameplay moments that made first game special. Didn't think it would be trimmed to this degree

2. I have stayed focus on this season being a complete story even if season 2 was never greenlit. It is but to truly be the 10 they are making it out to be or even a 9 for me it has to land the ending

3. Ellie and Joel in this are different but central story the same so time will tell. Will be interesting for show only and seeing if any show only currently play the game and how they feel

I agree centrally. You don't have to be gory or deliver shock value to be a successful zombie or post apocalyptic show. I just feel if they keep all this "realism" "show the result of violence rather than violence" "humans with ptsd, anxiety mental health and diseases" part to this season they have to carry that to part 2 as well. Which in some regards will be difficult
