Its unfortunate that the people that never played this game and are trying to be as loud as possible to hate are drowning out the people that have actually bought, played, and finished the game that want to actually voice their critiques with the game.

I have some critiques with this game as well (even though I really enjoyed it), but the vibe for most places right now its a bit difficult.

I loved the game but it’s not perfect. It can be pretty long at times and there’s some obvious filler but I still love the overall package. Nothing is truly perfect and there’ll never be.

Yeah I agree. I personally really enjoyed the game a lot and it does have its issues (to me it’s an 8.5-9/10) but that doesn’t mean the people with opinions that downright didn’t enjoy it are less valid. The only opinions I will straight up not listen to are those that haven’t played it at all or at least haven’t watched a playthrough of it. I don’t care how or why you’d wanna argue with me on that, but your opinion is irrelevant if you have zero experience with the game.

TLOU 2 Is ND’s Magnum Opus. In a few years from now people will look back on this and realize it was truly special.

Not many video games have dared to challenge its players from a writing perspective and have had as deep of writing that this has, there’s so many ways you can decipher this and it’s layered well. I’m not gonna say it’s the best written video game ever, but it’s up there.

Can’t be when Uncharted 2 is the best game of all time

Honestly as far as ND’s Magnum Opus goes TLOU2 would have to fall low on my list.

    Uncharted 2>Uncharted 3>TLOU1> Crash Team Racing>Crash 1=Crash 2>Crash 3>Uncharted 4>TLOU2

Anything not mentioned I have not played yet

Uncharted 3 over TLOU1 and UC4? Damn I personally thought UC3 was one of the weaker uncharted games. UC2 as their best I can respect 100% tho.

It’s close for me. Uncharted 2, 3, and TLOU1 are all in my top 10 games ever made.

It’s definitely up there, along with UC4, Lost Legacy and TLOU 1. Honestly ND’s catalogue is so rich in quality

Haven’t played Lost Legacy yet but Uncharted 4 was a huge decrease in quality compared to 2 and 3. It had a lot of the same problems as TLOU2 does and one of those is too much downtime/filler plus way too much climbing and not enough action. The story is weaker as well.

    What an amazing game

On my second play through for the collectibles now

But... would you love it the same way if it was shorter? It's part of the ambition.

I loved the grounded experience of 4. I never liked the supernatural s*** in the other games and thought it was ridiculous (yeah I get the whole treasure hunter s*** is ridiculous but still). 3 was fine but the pay off was pretty bad. I also love pirate s*** and the way they portrayed Avery’s descent into madness throughout the game was a sight to see.

game was really good, glad i didn’t listen to the pussies on twitter

i kept waiting for the “this is so difficult emotionally” s***, i felt genuinely empathetic to both sides so that was a non factor

    my only two complaints

    1. game was a little long towards the end, felt like it was dragging on

    2. I don’t remember Joel being such a corny dad type in part 1, idk why they chose to portray him that way here

he old and softened now. thought it would be all good and he'd have this great relationship with ellie and couldn't deal with the fact that wasn't really the case.
