probably my biggest disappointment. i didn't mind the abby section but Ellie didn't get anything near as cool as the certain boss.

Why does this game waste your time so much

There’s been like 4 flashback scenarios and all of them feel useless

The aquarium parts were boring af. I enjoyed the museum part though

Both are bad to me and deffinitely just drag the game out.

This game could have easily been 12 hours instead of 20-25

TLOU 2 Is ND’s Magnum Opus. In a few years from now people will look back on this and realize it was truly special.

Not many video games have dared to challenge its players from a writing perspective and have had as deep of writing that this has, there’s so many ways you can decipher this and it’s layered well. I’m not gonna say it’s the best written video game ever, but it’s up there.

The reception to it is starting to get better and negativity is becoming more a minority I’ve noticed

This is such a stupid and insulting take. There’s a large number of us that “actually played the game” and didn’t like it.

I’m talking about the blind hatred/people who review bombed it. Those people just found something else to be mad at. Yes, there are people who don’t like it but if anything the people who review bomb s*** ruined it for people who have legitimate problems with it.

Big facts :(

This is hard facts. I think it applies for both sides of the spectrum. The people that are going and doing constant s***ting on the game without playing it and saying people are “shills” are giving people with valid criticism a bad rep. Additionally, the people that have played the game and are defending it like their lives depend on it are going and calling people with actual criticism transphobes, homophobes, and closed minded. While some of these claims are true to a certain extent, it’s pretty ridiculous how both sides have led to constant ridiculing of others and nobody wants to have actual discussions, ESPECIALLY online.

I loved the game but it’s not perfect. It can be pretty long at times and there’s some obvious filler but I still love the overall package. Nothing is truly perfect and there’ll never be.
