The subreddit is straight up awful. They’re legit making s*** up to b**** about. These are grown ass men sending vile hate towards someone because they killed a fictional character. I noticed the activity on there has died down a lot since the game came out and the reception towards it is starting to become more positive so hopefully that place is a wasteland soon enough.

I know he posted spoilers but that spoiler tag s*** is hit or miss. It took me ten times before I gave up a few days ago

I like Abby for the most part, but the fact they made her so buff is completely ridiculous, so much of the plot felt like it was supposed to push certain political opinions, to the point that a lot of the plot elements felt secondary

Had the first game been about Abby and her relationship with her dad and the search for a cure and it ending with Joel and Ellie killing everyone and Abbys dad and the second game be the first game the reaction would probably be how it is now about how people don’t like Joel and Ellie and how they don’t wanna play as the people who killed the main characters dad.

That’s what makes it best. It shows there’s two sides of everything and sometimes people you wrong are going through the same things you are.
