he not a fan?
Know most their albums, seen them live. Near goats. Fripp certainly is one.
Those are dope
Always wanted to get a canvas or denim jacket and cover it in patches too

something about distilling a legendary band down to "the guys kanye sampled" just doesnt sit right with my spirit
but then again i dont hold kanye in as high regard anymore as many people here do
not expecting half of ktt to know them

love this - sounds as close as it gets to a what if a 60s bob dylan covered the bbs

Man probably and not even on purpose
I was out earlier wearing a record label shirt and it didn’t even click in my head til later that it has a drawing of Satan next to a turntable on the back with some upside down crosses and pentagrams, ppl probably staring at me like

Phoenix: Dennis Wilson, he’s the cursed Beach Boy. That makes him our favorite. He did about thirty songs, not all of them are easy to find. He did this one, Lady, and another one, a sort of Christmas song that is magnificent, very hard to get a hold of. I got it tho and it’s crazy. It never came out. There’s also another one that’s unreleased. (2009)

David Gilmour: Even in those very early days of the Beach Boys, songs like “In My Room” and “Don’t Worry Baby” were giving indications that Brian Wilson wanted to paint with a much more colorful palette than was offered by the surf music that he was so adept at.
His brilliance leapt from strength to strength over a very short period and in a little over four years, he mastered the art of songwriting, record production, orchestral arrangements and every form of studio trickery to culminate with the wonderful songs on Pet Sounds.

a story i love from the book “big star a story of rocks forgotten band” by rob jovanovic
After another show some time later, Alex Chilton came back to my place and rifled through my vinyl collection. He pulled out Love You by the Beach Boys, and wanted to know why I even owned that piece of crap. I said "screw you Chilton - it's a great record".
He then put it on my Phillips turntable, picked up my acoustic and played along with every song - perfectly. When he had played both sides, he informed me it was his favorite Beach Boys album.

he covered some other songs from love you
and of course
