You need the other heroes because that is how you show to the audience how Superman is the ultimate hero figure that inspires the other heroes to be more like him

One thing I strongly noticed and was happy about was that Superman was more concerned with saving lives than defeating his foe at the moment. Which is one of Superman's strongest characteristics

well yeah that's basically how they were trying to treat him. as the movie went on they realized he was actually big bro, someone to look up to

I wish the “call me Chief” setup and payoff was more set up instead of being a one time background thing. That minor plot thread would’ve added to the feel good vibes of the movie

We needed at least one, closeup shot reverse shot prior where they do the bit. It would’ve smacked when Perry finally said “call me Perry”. Cause tbh it took me a second to remember what it was referring to when he said it

I still don't think that's true. Mr Terrific saved his ass from the pocket dimension. Guy Gardner told that little kid that him coming instead of Superman was "an upgrade". After the Ultraman fight, Mr Terrific yelled down at Supes to stop laying around and get his ass up.

Superman just wasn't believable as someone that could lead the Justice League by the end of the movie. They all seemed better at their jobs than him
